Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure about you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others." -Marianne Williamson

seaweed wrapped tuna tempura, mustard & soy dressing

soft shell crab, toasted almond, fresh lemon & parsley vinaigrette

whole pan roasted trout with garlic, scallion & black bean crust, steamed asparagus

oven roasted miso cod, new potatoes & sweet peas

roast pork rack teriyaki with green apple tarte tartin & sage beignet

roasted tenderloin with portobello duxelle & feuille de brick, bouchons of duck liver

Everything was given the double thumbs up. But the star of the night was the roast pork rack. 4/5 was mmmm-ing away. 1/5 had no comments cuz she doesn't eat pork. So it must be realllyyyy good.

I quote, My tenderloin was so good but the pork rack is even better. Best i've ever had.

Its my last salsa beginner I class tomorrow. 8 weeks just gone liddat? Shocking! But its all good, all 4 of us have 'graduated' to Beginner II. Yay!

When i think about it, i've started and accomplished quite alot of things.

1. Clinched a job that i do love even though it keeps me busy day and night.
2. Salsaaaa
3. Spending time with dear friends
4. Doing things i enjoy
5. Pick ed up golf and loving it.
6. More me-time, which i've not had in 3 years.

Hasn't all been bad memories. Balanced i guess.

Ahh one more week before my long leave. On one hand, can't wait. One the other, yikes so much work to wrap up before i go and double yikes for when i come back. But whatever the case, next saturday come quickkk!

Speaking of wrapping, i've yet to do any christmas shopping. I've got to get something for mom and dad first. Thank God for time-offs aye.
